Are you looking for a career that is in demand and will also contribute positively to the community?  You could be a candidate for the Early Childhood Associate program.

As a student, you can earn a certificate, diploma, or associate degree.  Course work includes child growth and development; care and guidance of children; communication skills with parents and children; and childcare administration. A general education component is also included.

As a full time student, you can finish the curriculum in two years on either the Person or Caswell campus.  If you are working, you can come part-time during the day, evening, or weekend.  PCC also offers the NC Childcare Certification courses that can be completed in a semester.

As a graduate, you will qualify for positions as a preschool teacher, lead teacher, or administrator.  PCC also has agreements for students to transfer their credits and pursue a four-year degree at either UNC Greensboro or North Carolina Central University.
